ECCB Digital Dialogues: Pandemic and Faith
“Hope in the Face of Adversity”

On the next episode of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank’s new public engagement series, styled ECCB DIGITAL DIALOGUES, the featured topic will be “Pandemic and Faith”.

The COVID-19 pandemic has upended every facet of life for humanity as a collective. This experience could be classified as a “lifequake” – a term invented by author Bruce Feiler to characterise major, lingering, socially disruptive events. The unprecedented health, economic and financial stresses brought on by the pandemic have caused physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual distress for many and triggered feelings of being overwhelmed and occasioned an existential crisis for some.

As policymakers and social partners work in solidarity to implement an all-of-society approach to ensure a holistic strategy for battling the effects of the COVID-19 crisis, we will delve into the role of faith in our region’s response to the pandemic.

Please join the ECCB Governor as he moderates a live and interactive ECCB Digital Dialogue that will bring a message of hope in the face our current challenges. Governor Antoine will be joined by: Senior Pastor Lincoln Connor, Antioch Baptist Church, St Kitts and Nevis; Bishop Gabriel Malzaire, Diocese of Roseau, Dominica; and Mrs Joycelyn Tuitt, Methodist Preacher from Montserrat.

The panelists will explore the role of faith in overcoming adversity and building personal resilience.

Be part of the conversation as we take collective action to transform our region, now.

We encourage you to vote during the polling segment of the Dialogue. Your input is important to us.
