ECCB Digital Dialogues: Pandemic and Digital Transformation Part II
“Harnessing Digital Technologies for Recovery, Resilience and Transformation”

On the next episode of ECCB DIGITAL DIALOGUES, our featured topic will be “Pandemic and Digital Transformation Part II”.

With 2020 now behind us and as the newness of 2021 quickly fades, the new normal has become simply the norm. Health and safety remain our primary concern. Our lives continue to be characterized by heavy reliance on digital technologies for telework, virtual learning and many other facets of life. Even so, many segments of our society continue to face challenges with digital inclusion to be able to function effectively and efficiently. The pandemic has exposed serious infrastructural gaps and inequitable access to connectivity and digital tools that must be addressed, with urgency, to safeguard our economic recovery, resilience and transformation.

Please join the ECCB Governor as he moderates a live and interactive ECCB Digital Dialogue that will continue the conversation on the transformation of our economies and societies through digitalization. Governor Antoine will be joined by: Honourable Akilah Byron-Nisbett, St Kitts and Nevis Minister for ICT; Mr David Cox of Cable & Wireless Communications; and Ms Kristie Powell, Technical Advisor in the Office of the Prime Minister of The Bahamas.

In this, the second Dialogue on Pandemic and Digital Transformation, we will examine the private and public sector perspectives on building out a digital economy. The panel will discuss the role of both sectors in the adoption and widespread use of digital technologies in the midst of the pandemic and beyond. The panelists will also explore the potential for public-private partnerships in this important endeavour.

We encourage you to vote during the polling segment of the Dialogue. Your input is important to us.

Be part of the conversation as we take collective action to transform our region, now!
